After a remarkable 2025 season that saw Washington Freedom finish as runners-up, narrowly falling in the finals, the team returns with renewed determination to win the championship. Led by captain Glenn Maxwell and head coach Ricky Ponting, the team will once again compete in MLC, representing the Washington, D.C. area.
Owned by tech entrepreneur Sanjay Govil, who is also the founder and chairman of Infinite Computer Solutions, Washington Freedom represents the values of teamwork, inclusivity, and excellence. Building on a strong multi-year partnership, Infinite continues to support the growth of cricket in the United States, fostering stronger connections between sports, technology, and community.
“We’re happy to continue our partnership with Infinite as we head into the 2026 season,” said Dhiraj Malhotra, CEO, Washington Freedom. “It’s been great to partner with a company that values inclusivity, positivity, and the collective goal of building American cricket.”
